My Story

When I say I’ve worked with kids my whole life – it’s really true! My first job was working at the elementary school supervising kids in after-school care. Then I worked every summer as a camp counselor at a sleepaway camp where I fell in love with helping teach kids and decided I had to become a teacher. I was a middle school science teacher for years before becoming an Innovative Learning Coach for our local public school system. Throughout these years of being around young people I’ve never gotten tired of their energy and zest for life. I love listening to their ideas and seeing them come to life!

Now as a mom of two, I cherish time spent with my littles and capturing all the big and mundane moments. The moments that when I’m old I’ll fondly look back on and be swept away in nostalgia. I value printing all of these moments so my girls grow up seeing themselves and our love as a focus point in our home.

When I first became a mom I was caught off guard by the fact that every cliche is true. Babies don’t keep; the time flies by too fast and you blink and they are big. It is equal parts beautiful and heartbreaking and trust me that you’ll never regret having more pictures.
